Historicon 2026
Presented by the U.S. Army War College, Shadows and Steel will be featured at Historicon, Lancaster County Convention Center, from July 15–18, 2026. Attendees are invited to visit the 2nd Floor Demo Area to experience this award-winning military concept development game, where players command joint forces across multiple domains in a fast-paced battle of strategy, innovation, and future force design. Throughout the convention, the Shadows and Steel team will be conducting demonstrations, teaching new players, and showcasing the latest Army Alpha 5.1 edition. The event culminates on Saturday, July 18, with the first-ever Shadows and Steel Grand Championship Tournament, where competitors will battle for the honor of being crowned the inaugural Shadows and Steel Grand Champion.
Gencon 2026
Shadows and Steel will be present at Gen Con in a limited capacity throughout the convention. Game designer Steven Cunliffe will be available to conduct on-demand demonstrations for interested players, designers, publishers, and military professionals looking to experience this unique concept-development wargame firsthand.
